No matter the reason, at Whitby Smile Centre, we are happy to help out and provide you with either in-office or take-home whitening kits, whichever fits your needs.

In-office teeth whitening utilizes specialized dental equipment to alter the colour of your teeth. This procedure typically is done within one single appointment at our Whitby dental office and usually has a much obvious change than take-home whitening kits. However, it all depends on different factors that need to be considered; such as scheduling, pricing, and the amount of whitening needed.

Take-home teeth whitening kits are great for patients who desire whiter teeth but do not have the time to come to our dental office and get it done. Take-home teeth whitening kits can be provided by Dr. Sara Majedi and will allow you to whiten your teeth on your own time.

However, you will have to come into our Whitby dental office to pick up your kit. After picking up your kit, you will be required to follow the instructions provided at home to achieve the desired results.

Please note that take-home whitening kits will not alter the colour of your teeth as quickly as in-office procedures, but are typically seen as more convenient since you can do it from home.

I studied dentistry at the university of Toronto and have been in practice for more than 10 years. Preventive dentistry is my priority in the office and Cosmetics dentistry is one of my favourite aspects of it.
