Although, traditional X-rays are considered safe, Digital X-rays produce 90% less radiation, which means there is much less to worry with regards to developing issues from occasional exposure to radiation. With digital X-rays we are able to enhance the images, see details and make adjustments that are a tremendous help in our diagnosis. Additionally, once the X-ray is complete, it appears immediately on a computer screen, for instant review with the patient.
