At Whitby Smile Centre, we take advantage of intra oral cameras to show our patients the interior of their mouth, including teeth and gum structures. It’s an amazing diagnostic tool, as it can show the patients various angles of their mouth. They are the fastest and most effective way to communicate with our patients. The camera allows us to take a closer look at the entire mouth on a monitor with the patient aside. Together, we can examine any problems or concerns. The best thing about it is that the patient is seeing what the dentist is seeing. They can follow through with the discussion and we can explain in detail the procedures we suggest, why a specific treatment is necessary, and the different options available to them.
